For 8.0
Please open HistoryKill main screen ---> Click File from the menu ---> Choose IE/AOL Setup ---> On AOL folder, click Detect folder button (make sure you see the correct path C:Program FilesAmerica Online 8.0) displayed ---> Click Save button ---> Click Auto-Kill menu ---> Choose Auto-Kill Setup ---> Click AOL tab ---> Check the checkboxes that you want ---> Click Save button ---> restart the computer.
For 9.0
Double-click on HistoryKill icon on desktop to open HistoryKill main window ---> Click on the AOL tab ---> Click on the "Click Here to Configure AOL folder" button ---> Under the AOL folder section, click Browse button ---> doube-click on C drive ---> double-click on the Program Files folder ---> double-click on America Online 9.0 folder ---> click OK button (make sure you see the correct path C:Program FilesAmerica Online 9.0 displayed) ---> Click Save button ---> Click File menu and Choose Auto-Kill Settings ---> Click AOL tab ---> check all the boxes under AOL Privacy section ---> Click Save button.
Open AOL browser ---> click Settings ---> click Toolbar Settings ---> uncheck Auto-complete AOL keyword box ---> check Clear History Trail and Auto-complete box ---> click Save button ---> close AOL browser to take effect ---> restart the computer.
