MDAC 2.6 SP1 is supported on the following configurations:

Windows 95 with the Y2K Update and Internet Explorer 4.01 SP2 or later

Windows 98 with the Y2K Update 2 and Internet Explorer 4.01 SP2 or later

Windows 98 Second Edition

Windows Millennium

NT 4 SP5 (or greater) and IE 4.01 SP2 or later

Windows 2000

You usually get this error when MDAC isn't installed at all or is not installed properly. MDAC is short for Microsoft Data Access Components which is a set of drivers that HistoryKill needs for communication. Without it the Windows version of HistoryKill software will not work. MDAC is included in Win2000. On Win9x, Win NT and Win ME, it must be installed.

Please go to http://www.microsoft.com/data/download_26sp1.htm to download and install MDAC 2.6 SP1. You also may need to uninstall/reinstall HistoryKill after installing MDAC.
